Identification and characterization of tripanosomatídeos molecules of interest to the immunoassay of Chagas disease and leishmaniasis.
The main goal always was to characterize and identify proteins and glycoconjugates of Trypanosoma cruzi and assesses them as candidates in the immunoassay of Chagas disease.
We have lines of investigations for other objectives. One of them is the definition of parasite molecules not only as its antigenicity but also about a possible role in the immunopathology of Chagas disease.
Another line of research initiated this year is about leishmaniasis.
